Like I said, I did give the first quiz last week. I put the perfect scores up on a bulletin board for the students to see. It is amazing how many other students go up and look at the perfect scores on that board. It is seen as a great honor to have your work shown on the board. I feel this is very much opposite from back in the USA, where being acknowledged for intelligence is a bad thing and no one wants to be too smart.
I like the difference.
